Ari Kytsya Wore Coastal Carats to the 2026 Golden Globes

Last night, Ari Kytsya walked the Golden Globes red carpet wearing Coastal Carats—and I’m still not over it.

She wore the 3.56ct H VS2 floating diamond charm I made for her, suspended on a 20" 14k yellow gold mirror chain. It’s the bottom necklace in the photos, and seeing it photographed under red carpet lights was one of those surreal, pinch-me moments as a designer.

The piece: a diamond that actually floats

This is what Coastal Carats does best: fine jewelry that feels light, modern, and impossibly sparkly without looking heavy or overworked.

A floating diamond charm is exactly what it sounds like—a diamond that sits cleanly and minimally, designed to look like it’s hovering on the chain. No bulk. No fuss. Just a stone that catches the flash and does all the talking.

Why the 20" mirror chain makes it

The mirror chain is one of my favorite pairings for floating stones because it reflects light in this subtle, glossy way—almost like a soft glow instead of a hard shine. At 20 inches, it also hits that flattering length where the charm reads like a true pendant moment, especially on a neckline like Ari’s.

It’s elegant, effortless, and very “old money by the ocean,” which is basically my entire personality in jewelry form.

This exact necklace is one-of-one

I don’t currently have a duplicate of Ari’s exact necklace available.

But: I do have an approximately 3.5 carat oval diamond in stock that can be made into a floating diamond charm by special order. If you want the same vibe—large, luminous, clean, and impossibly wearable—this is a very real option.

If you’re interested, reach out and I’ll walk you through it: stone details, chain options (including mirror), length, and timeline. We’ll make it feel like yours, not a copy.

A designer’s note

I’m building Coastal Carats around the idea that fine jewelry should be worn—out to dinner, on vacation, to the biggest night of the year, and then again the next morning with a messy bun and a coffee.

Ari wearing this piece to the Golden Globes is exactly that point made loud and clear.

Shop floating diamonds (or inquire about the ~3.5ct oval special order) and let’s make your red carpet necklace—whether your red carpet is an awards show, a wedding, or just a Tuesday you decided to romanticize.
